Job Description

Schedule Full Time, Day Shift (80 hours biweekly)
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm
Rotation:
No weekends or Holidays General Summary Performs a variety of duties to assist the Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist/Surgical team with clinical procedures. Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment. Cleans equipment and rooms and restocks supplies and medications. As a full-service, non-profit acute-care hospital, with a 141 licensed bed capacity, WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital admits approximately 5,500 patients annually. Essential Functions:
Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment. Cleans and stocks all operating rooms and supply carts with necessary anesthesia supplies and emergency drugs. Cleans and sterilizes all equipment used in the administration of anesthesia. Monitors departmental supply levels and orders supplies as necessary.
Common Expectations:
Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participates in educational programs and in-service/department meetings. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. Attends meetings as required.
