Not provided Join a hospital-based team in York, PA as a locum tenens Cardiac Anesthesiologist providing supplemental clinical and call coverage. Assignments begin Sept 21 and are ongoing, with 4-5 weekday shifts per week (typical start times 6:15-7:00 AM; end times 4:30-5:00 PM). Night beeper call is shared (1-2 nights per week). Patient population spans all ages and varies by anesthetizing location; case mix focuses on cardiac procedures but also includes general and complex surgical cases and Level I trauma. You will work within a multidisciplinary team alongside surgeons and specialty clinicians, with full surgical and specialty service backup. Responsibilities include cardiac anesthesia, perioperative management, and anesthesia for surgical/procedural cases. Standard hospital anesthesia equipment and Epic EMR are used. The facility is a 593-bed, Level I trauma hospital.
Requirements:
active PA license or IMLC (LOQ), BC/BE in Anesthesiology, ACLS and PALS certifications, and a minimum of two years' experience preferred. Temporary privileges are available with leadership approval and a clean file. Hospital covers travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance; hospital privileges will be provided.
