What Makes This Position Unique Located in North Phoenix All- male residential treatment facility Work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including members of private tribal communities Integration of holistic and culturally grounded healing services facilitated by our Director of Cultural Affairs , including traditional Native practices Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment Clear growth and advancement pathways within the organization Opportunity to provide meaningful, trauma-informed care in a structured residential setting Position Overview The Licensed Therapist provides individual and group therapy services within a residential setting, supporting adult men navigating substance use disorders, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions. This clinician will assess client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic groups, and collaborate with behavioral health and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, ethical care delivery. Duties & Responsibilities Conduct therapeutic groups within the residential setting Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities (including art therapy and other clinically appropriate interventions) Assess and evaluate clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans Implement and monitor treatment plans, making adjustments as clinically indicated Provide counseling and support to clients and their families Collect and analyze data to track client progress and outcomes Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team Conduct specialized groups addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions Requirements Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline) Licensed in the State of Arizona (LAC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, depression, PTSD, and crisis presentations Knowledge of therapeutic techniques such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, art therapy, and familiarity with psychopharmacology Strong understanding of data collection and outcome tracking Excellent communication skills to effectively engage clients, families, and colleagues Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, with the ability to effectively work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including tribal communities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Compassionate, patient, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach Pay is based on experience and licensure.
