Key Qualifications:

Hold one of the following certifications: Certificate from the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification, Certificate from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation, Certification from the National Recreation and Park Association covering recreation or therapeutic recreation. Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational, therapeutic, or recreational setting is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills, especially for managing multiple sites and collaborating effectively during IEP meetings. Comfort with virtual (VOCO) therapy delivery and skill market platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide weekly individual sessions for four students, tailoring approaches to their unique needs (sessions range from 30-85 minutes). Conduct thorough assessments to inform individualized goals and strategies. Participate in annual IEP meetings and coordinate with educational teams and families to support student progress.
