Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy program, or credentialed as an
LMFT, LCSW, ACSW, LPCC, AMFT
If enrolled Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy program, and in training •Supervision will be provided by a
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Job Duties:
Clinician will be responsible for facilitation of group therapy sessions and individual therapy sessions. Clinician will be responsible for documenting all activities utilizing an electronic medical records system. Clinician will be responsible for documenting all interventions provided, documenting assessment of current symptoms and challenges, and documenting medical necessity for treatment. Clinician will be responsible for designing and implementing treatment plans. Clinician will be responsible for crisis intervention. Clinician will be engaged in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss client progress. Provide coaching, counseling, mentoring, instruction, training, feedback and positive reinforcement for members in areas such as grooming and hygiene, coping skills, public transportation and other independent living skills under principles of psychosocial rehabilitation model for treatment and services. Facilitates provision of Substance Use Disorder treatment services by providing assessments, counseling, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and care coordination of services
Necessary Skills:
Clinician will have a formal knowledge of diagnostic criteria for mental health and substance use disorders, with knowledge of appropriate interventions to use for each diagnosis. Clinician will be adept in crisis intervention, assessing suicidality, designing safety plans, implementing treatment plans, motivating clients for change, counseling, and therapy.
