Job Summary:
Our successful Group Therapist candidates will be organized, proactive and responsive self starters. They'll be authentic and passionate, willing to meet patients where they are, stabilize them and move them forward. They'll know that the aim is progress not perfection - to understand and make the most of everything. They love the growth and development process and love applying it to day-to-day life. The most successful candidates will do everything in the context of patient engagement and be particularly initiating, enrolling and assertive while connecting. They'll enjoy working independently and also collaboratively, as part of a care team. They'll flow easily with what others call stress and be comfortable with addressing differences and conflict while simultaneously also humble and eager to receive and integrate feedback. They are able to easily assess a group and adapt to help them move through to the next stage. They boldly reach out to patients who stop coming. They tend to also be well organized and easily able to be more directive to hold the cohesiveness of a group from start to finish.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Therapists plan, conduct, and improve individual therapy sessions for patients. This role works independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of an integrating team.
Our Therapists:
Are responsible for a set of assigned patients. Select appropriate treatment modalities and carry them out in individual sessions. Assist with all discharge planning patient needs including FMLA, Short Term Disability, and Sober Housing needs. Attend Treatment Team meetings as needed Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone, especially on the treatment teams. Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies Do additional duties as assigned. Report directly to the Clinical Director
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format Interpersonal Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community Leadership Develop and execute quality treatment services for assigned caseload Possess a self-starter and positive attitude Organization Maintain an effective schedule to carry out all tasks, including therapeutic services and documentation Self-Management Manage caseload effectively, including circumstantial patient needs Language, Math, and Reasoning Work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and
TRAINING
MS/MA or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or equivalent field 2+ years of experience in a clinical role preferred Possess experience in Chemical Dependency field preferred Be authorized to work in the
US CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be licensed or be license eligible for one of the following: LADC, LADC/MH, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LBP, or equivalent licensure Authorization to work in the US is required
COMPUTER SKILLS
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite Comfortable working with electronic health records
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
