Job Description
An Opportunity to Make a Positive Impact! Mental health plays a vital role in an individual's overall well-being. If mental health issues are not addressed, they can lead to various complications. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will have a crucial role in helping clients manage their mental health and understand their emotions. You will help create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can freely express themselves and gain insight into their mental health issues. At Spero Family Services, we foster a culture of support and collaboration, where therapists work together to provide comprehensive care and share their expertise. Our team-oriented approach ensures that therapists feel valued, inspired, and empowered to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to a diverse range of clients. We specialize in various therapies such as EMDR, TF-CBT, play therapy, and sand tray therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Counseling:
Provide individualized counseling appointments with each client. Maintain current information regarding therapeutic interventionsProductivity:
Provide at least 25 hours of billable services per weekTreatment Planning:
Create individual treatment plans for clients. Collaborate with other staff when necessary for optimal service delivery.Paperwork:
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.Requirements:
Master's required, LCPC/LCSW and previous experience preferred. Must be able to able to work at least one evening per week to meet the needs of school-aged children and working adults.Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills, organized, basic computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions, Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues and to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints.Miscellaneous:
Must pass pre-employment drug screens and background clearances.Job Types:
