Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The Activities Therapist is responsible to deliver high quality effective mental health services to patients using evidence based practice techniques. The Activities Specialist must also demonstrate excellent organization skills, including accurately and timely documentation, excellent service skills and critical thinking skills

Qualifications Responsibilities:

Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program Masters Degree in Creative Art Therapy. Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English 1 year of supervised experience. License/Certifications ATR (Registered Art Therapist) or provisional ATR if under supervision. or CTR (Certified Recreational Therapist). or LCAT or Provisional LCAT with Supervision.
