At The Osborn , the Art Specialist plays a meaningful role in enhancing residents' lives through creative expression, engagement, and community. Located on a beautiful 56‑acre campus in Rye, NY, The Osborn is a premier senior living community committed to person‑centered care and a supportive work environment. What You'll Do Plan and lead engaging art activities for individuals and groups Adapt projects to meet residents' cognitive, physical, and emotional needs Encourage creativity, self‑expression, and social interaction Collaborate with the Life Enrichment and interdisciplinary teams Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming activity space Track participation and manage art supplies Build positive, respectful relationships with residents and families What We're Looking For Background in art, fine arts, art therapy, or a related field (degree preferred) Experience working with older adults or in a healthcare or senior living environment is a plus Creative, organized, and compassionate approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member Why You'll Love Working at The Osborn Competitive pay at $28.21 per hour Consistent daytime schedule with predictable hours Mission‑driven, resident‑centered culture Supportive and collaborative team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the community Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to communicate clearly in English, with or without reasonable accommodations The Osborn is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
