General Summary:
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position under the supervision of the program manager. The principal responsibilities of this position are to coordinate primary therapy services for the population served. This therapy-based staff position will diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral problems. This person is responsible for the clinical record and collaboration with other providers to provide comprehensive care to the population served.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assessment of clients, which includes diagnosis, mental status, role functioning, client risk to self and others. 2. Recommendation for treatment which would include modality, frequency of sessions, client resources and benefit needs, and techniques. These techniques must be consistent with: a. Standards in the field and supported by clinical research. b. Ethical/procedural standards c. Clinician's scope of practice as specified by education and licensure. 3. Quality of work (including productivity) will be consistent with Full time Standards in each modality. An average of 100% productivity will be the monthly standard. 4. Meets productivity or contracted billable services per fiscal year, which is 114 episodes per month as per their expectation. The Primary Service delivered must be within the agency threshold (95%) to assure fidelity. 5. Consultation and Education with South community, Inc. and non-South community, Inc. caregivers as needed to advocate for the client and to facilitate progress during counseling. 6. Maintain the Individualized Service Plan consistent with South community and accreditation standards. Complete other paperwork necessary to facilitate recording and documentation of services for the clinical record, and to meet requirements of third party payers or to facilitate billing and collections. 7. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, in-services and in supervision as needed or required.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in mental health or related field and Ohio Licensure from the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. Communication, organization and customer service and computer skills experience.Job Type:
