Job Description

Join our collaborative and creative team as an Art Therapy Associate, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and individualized art therapy services in a private practice setting as a primary therapist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your expertise in art therapy to promote mental health and emotional well-being. Your work will directly impact clients' lives by providing engaging therapeutic interventions that foster healing and resilience. This contracted position is designed for licensed art therapists committed to making a meaningful difference in a supportive environment. About You Candidates must be trauma-informed and licensed in Maryland (LCPAT). We will consider a LGPAT with previous private practice experience or close to completing their post-grad supervised hours. Ideal candidates are willing to work with children, adolescents, and adults in person at our art-friendly office suite in Kensington, MD, as well as via telehealth when needed. Our team includes experienced art therapists, art therapy educators, supervisors, published authors, and presenters at national conferences. And to increase accessibility to those who need it the most, we are in-network with a major insurance carrier and will work with clients not in-network to obtain a network exemption or provide sliding scale services. About the Position This is a contracted (1099) non-benefited position suited for clinicians who enjoy working independently and focusing on spending time with clients rather than the details of running a business.
