- A Systemic Practice Rooted in Connection, Deep Healing, and Purposeful Growth Where therapists and clients grow from the inside out Welcome to The Center for Connection, Healing, and Change The Center for Connection, Healing, and Change (CCHC) is more than a group practice
- it's a living, evolving community of clinicians invested in the journey of transformation.
We are systemic and attachment-based therapists who view therapy as sacred work: a process of helping people rediscover safety, belonging, self-leadership, and wholeness in the wake of life's shaping experiences. We believe that the quality of our therapeutic presence is inseparable from the quality of our own internal work. The deeper we travel within ourselves, the more authentically we can accompany our clients. For that reason, CCHC invests as deeply in the therapist's growth as in the client's healing. Our Clinical Philosophy We believe our systemic and attachment-based treatment philosophy offers a powerful and non-pathologizing way to understand, organize, and heal human struggles at their core. When you view the world through this lens, every human struggle makes sense. We are wired for connection, and keeping this need front and center in the therapeutic relationship lends itself to experiences of safety, organization, validation, and transformation. Drawing from systemic, attachment, trauma, and somatic frameworks, we guide clients in understanding how life and relationships have shaped them
- so they can move beyond old wounds, patterns, and protections into genuine connection and freedom.
But our systemic lens extends beyond client care. It shapes how we see our clinicians, our organization, and our collective growth. Just as we ask clients to risk vulnerability and move towards integration, we ask the same of ourselves. We strive to embody authenticity, curiosity, courage, and compassion in our relationships
- with clients, with colleagues, and within ourselves.
A Commitment to Reaching Potential We view the journey of developing clinical competence not as working towards perfection, but as the ongoing refinement of depth, congruence, humanity, and integrity in practice. At CCHC, professional development is not a box to check—it's a living process of becoming more fully yourself as a skilled guide to healing, growth, and integration. We offer a training and consultation program designed to help you expand your clinical fluency while deepening your personal presence. Therapists train in modalities such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Sex Therapy, Family Systems, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. We also offer monthly, model-specific consultation groups to ensure an ongoing touch stone for clinical competence in these evidence-based models. Model-specific consultation groups and quarterly workshops with leaders in the field provide continual immersion in the models that are foundational to our practice. These experiences are not just educational—they are experiential spaces for reflection, parallel process, and personal integration. Through this structure, you'll not only deepen and expand your clinical skills but also build solid internal working maps for the creation of lasting change and the ability to work with coherence, trust in process, confidence, and creativity.
Self-of-the-Therapist:
The Heart of Our Work We believe that therapy is not something we do to clients; it's something we live with them. To sit with another's story requires knowing our own. Our practice intentionally cultivates the Self-of-the-Therapist work
- the living embodiment of the process of change.
We support therapists to reflect on their attachment histories, internal architecture, and relational patterns, so that they can work from a place of congruence, presence, and compassion rather than from overfunctioning, avoidance, protection, or performance. We do not function as therapists, parents, or reparative emotional experiences for each other, but rather as a community of like-minded souls who choose to work thoughtfully and purposefully together in service of our clients. Through ongoing process groups, consultation, and reflective practice, we normalize and honor the parallel growth that occurs within the therapist. We invite each clinician to bring their full humanity into the room—to feel, reflect, and live in ways that mirror the courage and risk we ask of our clients. In this way, professional and personal growth become inseparable: as we heal and integrate, our work naturally becomes deeper, safer, and more powerful. Who We're Looking For We're seeking Licensed Therapists (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Psychologists) who are already practicing from a place of depth and authenticity
- clinicians with clear clinical identities, strong therapeutic instincts, and a calling toward lifelong growth.
You may already be grounded in systemic, attachment-based, trauma-informed, or somatic models, and you are drawn to an environment where clinical excellence is paired with personal congruence. You understand that your own internal work directly enhances your capacity to hold others. You're confident in your skill and value, and your clients stay because they feel your presence and depth and trust in your ability to direct the process. You're autonomous, but you crave the nourishment of a collaborative community
- one where competency and humanity coexist.
