Job Description

Serenity Counseling and Wellness, PLLC is hiring full-time outpatient therapists and psychologists to join our thriving, trauma-informed group practice at our new Skokie, IL location. This is a great fit for someone who wants to focus on meaningful clinical work with a consistent caseload and strong administrative support. You'll have access to fully stocked therapy rooms, including dedicated play and art spaces, flexible scheduling, and a team that values clinical integrity, collaboration, and whole-person care. We are particularly interested in art and play therapists, clinical psychologists with psychological and neuropsychological testing experience, trauma-trained clinicians, and clinicians with experience working with ADHD and ASD.

Position Details:
Full-time W-2 employee role Expected caseload of 25 to 28 clients per week In-person work required at our Skokie location Limited telehealth may be available for clinically appropriate clients Referrals provided; no need to build your own caseload Pre-licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians, including LPCs and LSWs, and new graduates are welcome to apply In-house supervision is available for pre-licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians Psy.

D. applicants and licensed clinical psychologists are encouraged to apply Opportunities may be available for clinicians interested in therapy, psychological testing, or both
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide behavioral therapy and mental health counseling to children, teens, adults, and families. Utilize play, art, and other expressive therapy techniques when clinically appropriate. Provide trauma-informed treatment for anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, ASD, and related concerns. Use telehealth platforms when clinically appropriate. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed and support trauma-informed care initiatives.
Who We're Looking For:
Required:
Licensed, pre-licensed, or provisionally licensed in Illinois, including LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Psy.

D. Experience providing outpatient therapy to children, teens, adults, or families Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches Comfort using electronic health records and telehealth platforms when needed
Preferred:
Art therapy, play therapy, or expressive therapy experience Psychologists or Psy.

D. clinicians with psychological testing experience Trauma training or experience providing trauma-informed care Experience working with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, OCD, or related concerns Experience with children, teens, families, or neurodivergent clients
