Art Therapist

Duties:

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals with special needs or disabilities
• Develop and implement care plans based on individual needs and goals
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches
• Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
• Assist with crisis management and intervention as needed
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Provide support and education to families and caregivers
• Specialize in dementia care for elderly individuals in assisted living facilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work)
• Valid licensure or certification as a therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
• Experience working with individuals with special needs or disabilities
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate documentation and billing
• Strong crisis management skills and ability to handle challenging situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
