Plano, TX Adult Center Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor or Associate (LPC/LPC-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Associate (LMFT/LMFT-A), or Licensed Clinical (or Master) Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW) to join our team in providing comprehensive therapeutic services in our Evening Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The successful candidate will facilitate group therapy sessions, contribute to treatment planning, and support individuals in their mental health and recovery journeys. Group hours are from 4:00-8:30pm. This position will be leading a co-occurring group (mental health primary, substance use secondary) so LCDC or significant work experience in addiction is strongly preferred. Individuals with only an LCDC do not qualify for this position, you must have one of the licenses listed above.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct group therapy sessions for adults in the PHP and IOP settings, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide crisis intervention as needed and maintain a safe group therapy environment. Document all therapy sessions and client interactions in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Current state licensure as an LPC/LPC-A, LMFT/LMFT-A, or
LCSW/LMSW
(or equivalent). Experience in group therapy facilitation, preferably within a PHP or IOP setting. Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
