Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychotherapy, Counseling, Social work, or related field. 2 years experience working with families. Passion regarding our target population. Substance abuse has touched every family in this nation, in some way. To make the biggest impact with this population, it will be necessary to have real life experiences with friends and family to relate to the clients with. Be licensed as a level 1 social worker, or higher.
Description:
The qualified candidate will work with the therapist in setting goals for our target population. He/She will work with the clients, assisting the therapist in achieving the goals that are spelled out in the treatment plan. Given our target population, this is an essential position, in which the candidate will see the clients more frequently than the therapist and provide reports to the therapist as he/she requests.
Duties/Expectations:
Prepare the Treatment Plan pursuant to agreed upon goals during team meeting. Coordinate services for the client. Prepare notes from services provided. Provide supportive counseling sessions for the client. Provide targeted case management services to the client when needed and directed by therapist. Responsible for tracking and scheduling team meetings.
