Position Summary:
The Assistant Athletic Trainer position will report to the Head Athletic Trainer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary coverage of Men's Basketball/ Men's and Women's Clinical instruction and supervision of 10 athletic training students with coverage of five coed training rooms Develop and implement standard operating procedures, document injuries, provide oversight of home and away practices and games, and handle various duties as assigned by Director of Sports Medicine. Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of NCAA and Sun Belt Conference regulations specifically as they apply to institutional policies and procedures.
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Frequent nights, weekends and holidays Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Master's Degree. Two (2) years of experience preferred.
