We are seeking passionate and qualified applicants for the role of Outreach High School Athletic Trainer - Part Time to join our dynamic team. This position provides Athletic Training Services to high school sports on a Part-Time Basis for Sacramento City Unified School District. Monday through Friday with guaranteed 25-29 hours a week. What You'll Do Deliver Athletic Training Services to athletes across multiple sports programs. Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and parents to ensure optimal safety, performance, and care. Support practices, games, and events, including weekend commitments with predetermined scheduling. Uphold the FLEX Performance philosophy of diversity, excellence, ethical conduct, and teamwork. What We're Looking For Educational Background:
Master's degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program (or Bachelor's for programs completed before 2022).
Certifications:
Current BOC certification, along with American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid.
Skills & Abilities:
Expertise in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation techniques. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for injury tracking and reporting. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive situations. Experience with athletic training aids (e.g., taping, modalities, exercise programs).
