Physical Therapy Aide/Athletic Trainer Aide City Sport Physical Therapy Sunnyvale, CA Job Details Part-time | Internship From $21 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Spanish Outpatient Laundry Front desk Physical therapy Full Job Description We are a physical therapy office located in Sunnyvale looking for a physical therapy or athletic trainer aide. This would be a great position for a recent college graduate currently in the process of applying to physical therapy school. We would like someone who can start no later than 11/25/2024. Spanish speaking helpful but not required.

This is a part-time position:

Mon, Wed, Fri 8:00am

• 5:00pm. (24 hours/week) We need someone with the following qualities:
• Willing to learn
• Has a good, positive attitude
• Is enthusiastic
• Likes working with people
• Can see what needs to be done in the clinic and with patients

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Previous hospital or acute care setting experience
• Experience in outpatient or clinic settings
• Background in orthopedics or geriatrics is a plus The duties for this position will include:
• Set up patients on modalities, as well as perform modalities (i.e. ultrasound)
• Monitor patients during the exercises to ensure proper form
• Clean tables and equipment after each patient
• Wash and fold towels
• Schedule patients and answer the phone
• Filing, type up dictations, welcome patients, and other front desk duties In our clinic, your time will be well spent in preparing you for entry to physical therapy school.

After some time, you will have a good understanding of physical therapy in an outpatient setting. The last four physical therapy aides that were employed at our clinic went on to be accepted into physical therapy school.
