Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic Physical Therapy clinic as a Licensed Athletic Trainer, where you will play a vital role in optimizing patient health, preventing injuries, and enhancing performance. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will deliver expert care, develop personalized training and rehabilitation programs, and collaborate closely with patients and medical professionals. Your expertise in sports medicine, physiology, and body mechanics will help patients stay at their peak and recover swiftly from injuries. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on athletic success and well-being. Duties Develop and implement injury prevention strategies tailored to individual patients' needs Design personalized rehabilitation programs incorporating sports medicine principles, physiotherapy techniques, and body mechanics Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and injury reports Collaborate with physical therapist, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans Qualifications Valid license as an Athletic Trainer issued by the appropriate state licensing board Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and sports medicine practices Proficiency in personal training principles and body mechanics for optimal performance enhancement Excellent communication skills to educate patients on injury management and wellness strategies Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining a positive attitude Documents accurately and timely in patient's record, all treatment/procedures done and initials documentation. Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in athletic training, Physical Education, or Exercise Science or health related profession required. Masters Degree preferred. Current CPR/AED from American Heart Association certification required. First Assist Certification highly preferred. Nationally certified athletic trainer (ATC) and Florida state license required
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
