ActionOnsite is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support industrial athletes in a fast-paced distribution and warehouse environment throughout the Boise area. This position focuses on injury prevention, movement coaching, ergonomics, and early discomfort intervention. You will work directly with employees both onsite and during market visits, helping them stay healthy, safe, and productive throughout their workday.
What You'll Do:
Injury Prevention & Early Intervention Provide OSHA first-aid level care Address employee discomfort before it escalates Perform functional movement observations Assist with
PROACTIVE
stretching, mobility, and recovery techniques Ergonomics & Movement Coaching Observe work tasks and identify ergonomic risk factors Coach employees on safe lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and reaching techniques Reinforce proper body mechanics and working power zones Provide real-time job coaching in warehouse and retail environments Employee Wellness & Education Build relationships with employees and site leadership Encourage early reporting of discomfort Promote a proactive safety culture Deliver educational coaching on injury prevention strategies Documentation & Communication Complete required documentation accurately and on time Communicate trends and observations with leadership Maintain professional and objective records QualificationsRequired Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) Current BOC Certification Current CPR/BLS Certification Strong communication and coaching skills Ability to work independently Preferred Industrial injury prevention experience Ergonomics experience Sports medicine background CEAS I or CEAS II Certification Experience with functional movement assessment Schedule Approximately 6 hours per week Flexible scheduling Local travel to warehouse and retail locations required Why ActionOnsite?
