POSITION SUMMARY
The Head Athletic Trainer reports to the Director of Athletics, and assists in all aspects of athletic training and is responsible for time management, budgeting and athletic training facility management.Responsibilities:
Provide Athletic training services for intercollegiate sports, evaluation and treatment of injuries, designing and supervising rehabilitation programs, prepractice and game preparations and referral of studentathletes to appropriate Physicians. Maintain computerized medical records and documenting athletic training needs on injured studentathletes to coaches. Oversee the overall operations of the athletic training facilities, including ordering and inventory of all athletic training supplies. Participates in college and departmental training and continued educational opportunities.Qualifications:
Flexible Schedule as Athletic Training coverage includes practices, games (home and some away) and postseason competition. Knowledge of NAIA and KCAC policies and regulations. Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited college/university and Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification is required. Experience working in a college setting. Must be eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri and be current on training certifications in First Aid, CPR and AED Multilingual skills highly preferred Ability to contribute to a climate that supports a diverse student body, serves firstgeneration college students, multilingual learners, and contributions to equity and social justice through their work.
