Monday, August 3, 2025 About Athletic Republic Athletic Republic is one of the nation's leading sports performance training brands, built on a science-based system that has helped hundreds of thousands of athletes run faster, move better, and compete at a higher level. With locations across the country, AR combines proven methodology with personalized training, serving competitive student-athletes and adult fitness clients who want results, not just a workout. About Athletic Republic Cary Athletic Republic Cary opened in March 2021 and has grown into one of the top-performing centers in the AR network, recognized with the International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchisee of the Year award in 2024. The IFA is the leading governing body for franchising in the United States, making this one of the most meaningful recognitions in the industry. With 144 five-star Google reviews, our reputation in the Triangle speaks for itself. We're proud of the team we've built. Several of our trainers have been with us for two or more years, a reflection of the culture and environment we've worked hard to create. If you're looking for a role where your expertise is respected, your growth is supported, and you're part of a team that sticks together — this is that place. About the Role The Lead Trainer is the heartbeat of Athletic Republic Cary's training floor. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional training experiences for student-athletes and adult members, leading and developing the trainer team, and ensuring every client — whether a competitive athlete chasing a Division I offer or an adult reclaiming their fitness — achieves real, measurable results. This is a full-time leadership position that reports directly to the Owner and sits at the intersection of elite training, team management, and customer experience. What We're Looking For A high-energy, people-first trainer who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment. Someone equally comfortable training a competitive high school athlete and leading a small-group adult fitness session. A natural leader who elevates the trainers around them, not just the athletes in front of them. A communicator who builds real relationships with athletes, parents, and adult members and keeps them coming back. Someone comfortable with the sales side of the business, including outreach, lead follow-up, and guiding prospective members through the decision to join, in close collaboration with the Owner. Responsibilities Training & Program Delivery Lead and continuously improve Athletic Republic's sports performance and adult fitness programs, serving both student-athlete and adult client populations with equal commitment and expertise. Deliver group training and one-on-one personal training sessions — for both student-athletes and adults — that are high-energy, results-driven, and grounded in AR's proven methodologies. Conduct training trials and consultations for prospective athletes and adult members — engaging, educating, and converting prospects into long-term members. Track client progress through assessments, real-time observation, and our performance platform, providing regular feedback to clients and parents as appropriate. Educate clients on proper technique, injury prevention, and sustainable performance improvement. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a team of trainers who deliver consistently excellent instruction across all programs. Model the standard — your energy, professionalism, and client relationships set the bar for the rest of the team. Support scheduling and coverage planning to ensure seamless daily training operations. Facility & Equipment Own the training floor — cleanliness, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and organization are your responsibility. Proactively identify and report equipment issues before they become problems. Collaborate with the Owner to maintain a facility that reflects the quality of our brand. Business Development & Community Engagement Partner with the Owner to drive membership growth, retention, and referrals across both client populations. Represent Athletic Republic Cary in the community — at school events, WCPSS partnerships, showcases, and local outreach opportunities. Contribute to social media content and promotional efforts that showcase our training programs and results.
