Job Description Summary:
THIS IS A NON-EXEMPT VERSION OF AN EXEMPT JOB TO BE USED FOR ALL CONTINGENT POSITIONS AND ANY PART-TIME POSITIONS WHEN THE BASE WEEKLY SALARY
(STANDARDHOURS TIMES HOURLY RATE OF PAY
)IS LESS THAN
$455 DUE TO FLSA REGULATIONS.This position is responsible to fulfill a contractual agreement between specified schools within central Ohio and OhioHealth to provide Certified Athletic Trainers to the High Schools outlined annually in the agreement.Responsibilities And Duties:
40%: Evaluates Athletic-related Injuries 40% Provides Athletic Care necessary before, during, and after events as outlined by the school district 20% Travels with athletic teams to away events depending on hours and availability of weekly scheduled hoursThe major duties, responsibilities and essential functions listed above are not intended to be all-inclusive of the duties, responsibilities and essential functions to be performed by employees in this job. Employee is expected to all perform other duties as requested by supervisor.Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)LIC - Licensed in Field -State of Ohio Additional Job Description:
Bachelors Degree, Certified in Ohio by theOT/PT/AT
Board as a certified athletic trainer.Kind and Length of Experience:
New Grad, prefer experience in school based sport related training.Work Shift:
