Job Description

Are you a Certified Athletic Trainer who thrives working independently and wants to make a real impact in workplace safety and injury prevention? Join Doctors of Physical Therapy and help lead the charge in onsite occupational health. We're hiring a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer to support job site safety and worker wellness. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working solo, organized, and communicative. Why This Role Is Different It's a proactive, in-the-field role where you'll directly support hardworking manufacturing teams through hands-on care, education, and early intervention. Your work keeps skilled workers safe, healthy, and on the job. What You'll Be Doing Provide real-time early intervention assessment of workplace injuries Educate workers on safe practices and injury prevention techniques Collaborate with the plant's safety and management teams, and participate in safety team meetings Job coaching utilizing safety training and program materials Develop and deliver of injury prevention education programs Perform ergonomic assessments as needed Conduct workplace walkthrough sessions on a regular basis and maintain high visibility on the production floor Assessment of non-occupational strains, sprains or first aid issues to determine need for immediacy of treatment Data collection and reporting of relevant information This Role Might Be a Great Fit If You Enjoy working independently and taking initiative Manage your time well and follow through without reminders Communicate clearly and consistently with diverse teams What You'll Need Current BOC Certification Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Experience in occupational health, construction, or industrial settings is a plus but not required Why Join Doctors of Physical Therapy We offer outstanding benefits to support your well-being and professional growth: Earn up to $75,000 annually depending on your experience Paid time off and holidays Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) retirement plan Continuing education reimbursement Access to our mentorship program Be part of a movement that values prevention over reaction and trust over bureaucracy.
