Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the Central, PA region, where you will play a vital role in promoting athlete health, optimizing performance, and preventing injuries in a high school setting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with athletes, coaches, and medical professionals to deliver expert care and guidance. Your expertise in sports medicine, physiology, and body mechanics will help athletes achieve their best while ensuring their safety and well-being. We are looking for energetic, motivated individuals passionate about sports health and dedicated to making a positive impact. Responsibilities Assess and evaluate athlete injuries using comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement Monitor progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal recovery Collaborate with coaches and medical staff to design training programs that incorporate sports medicine principles and personal training techniques Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies and proper techniques to minimize risk during training and competition Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and injury reports in compliance with healthcare standards Qualifications BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (or eligible) Pennsylvania state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master's preferred) CPR/AED certification Experience working in a high school or collegiate setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage daily athletic training operations Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends based on athletic schedules Excellent communication skills to educate athletes effectively on health topics and treatment plans Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment Join us in empowering athletes through expert care, innovative training techniques, and a passionate commitment to health!
