  • MultiCare Position Summary This Athletic Trainer is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for providing athletic training services to athletes and active individuals.
As you assist in the development of strength and conditioning programs for athletes and active individuals, provide education in sports medicine and engage in marketing strategy deployment, you will be able to engage in a dynamic range of work functions every day while supporting athletic development within the community. Responsibilities You will provide athletic training outreach services for community school athletes at their respective locations, including practices and games You will provide development and implementation of on-site athletic training services in community schools and area events You will provide documentation of athlete care provided, including daily records, progress notes, and other correspondence necessary for athletic training management You will report on athlete progress through written progress notes and oral reports to nurses, physicians and other appropriate members of the health care team You will work under the supervision of a Team physician/athlete's physician in community outreach services You will educate athletes, parents, coaches and administrators on injury management and prevention Requirements WA State Athletic Trainer licensure Current BLS Certification Minimum three (3) years of experience in sports medicine, including community outreach and clinic outpatient services Experience in marketing and new program development in community outreach at secondary school level and sports medicine services Why MultiCare? As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.67
