Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to provide high-quality medical care focused on injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation for individuals of all ages. This role combines sports medicine, occupational health, and clinical support , offering a dynamic and impactful work environment. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site coverage for athletic events and school activities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage athletic injuries Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation plans Conduct concussion assessments and manage return-to-play protocols Communicate care plans with athletes, parents, and coaches Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and treatments Identify injury trends and implement preventive strategies Support occupational health services (functional assessments, return-to-work programs) Assist physicians in orthopedic clinics (patient history, scheduling, education) Coordinate schedules for event coverage Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology Minimum 1 year of relevant experience Valid Athletic Trainer license in the state of Wisconsin Board of Certification (BOC) certification Current BLS certification Valid driver's license Key Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and musculoskeletal evaluation skills Knowledge of concussion management and emergency care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and organizational ability Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working with digital tools and systems Why Join Us?
