Job Description
Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Audiologist to support students in the Riverside area through an itinerant role. This position offers 37.5 hours per week, structured as 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break. The contract begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (second week of June).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive audiological assessments and services to students across multiple school locations. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans that support hearing-impaired students. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district policies and state regulations. Support hearing aid and assistive listening device fitting, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and families as needed.Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure or certification as an Audiologist. Demonstrated experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations. Ability to travel within the Riverside area daily to serve multiple schools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and educational teams. Knowledge of current audiological assessment tools and assistive technologies. Commitment to student success and professional collaboration.Location:
