Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract A full-time itinerant audiologist position is available in Murrietta, CA, serving school-aged children. This contract role offers a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, consisting of 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year in the second week of June. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing screenings, and diagnostic assessments for students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and recommend assistive listening devices or accommodations. Maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring students' progress, and providing counseling on hearing loss and auditory health are also essential duties.
Qualified candidates should possess:
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology State licensure and certification to practice as an audiologists in CA Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings Strong knowledge of audiometric testing equipment and protocols Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage a caseload itinerantly This opportunity offers the chance to make a measurable impact on children's learning and communication by addressing hearing needs in educational environments.
