Your Impact:
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is seeking a 40-hour Audiologist to support our onsite ENT practice. This close-knit setting includes two ENT physicians and an Audiology Assistant, offering strong collaboration and a supportive clinical environment. This is a general audiology role focused primarily on diagnostic care and hearing aid services. The Audiologist provides comprehensive evaluations and manages hearing aid services for patients experiencing hearing-related concerns. This position is an essential part of our ENT care team, contributing diagnostic insights that guide medical and surgical decision-making and supporting patient communication and quality of life.
Your Role:
Independently perform complete diagnostic audiologic evaluations for patients referred by ENT physicians. Diagnose the type and severity of hearing loss and provide detailed audiologic findings to support ENT treatment planning. Determine candidacy for hearing aids; program, dispense, and provide follow-up care. Collaborate closely with ENT physicians and the Audiology Assistant to support coordinated, efficient patient care. Participate in patient education and counseling to promote communication health and daily functioning. Provide services across a generalist caseload, with approximately 75% diagnostic care and 25% hearing aid services. Qualifications Doctorate in Audiology from an ASHA or ACAE accredited Audiology program State of Connecticut Audiologist License New Graduates are encouraged to apply!
