Job Description

Overview:
We seek a skilled and dedicated Audiologist/ HIS to join our team. As an Audiologist/HIS, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating adult patients with hearing disorders. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing hearing loss.
Duties:
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' hearing and communication abilities. Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry
  • Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
  • Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids or other assistive listening devices
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding their hearing loss and available treatment options
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of ear anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations using various audiological equipment
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques related to the auditory system
  • Ability to perform aseptic techniques when working with patients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program or as HIS valid Fitting and testing experience
  • Valid state license and HID
  • Prior experience working as an Audiologist/HIS is preferred.
