Job Description

Audiologists - North Carolina is calling you! Pinehurst Surgical Clinic is welcoming a full-time Audiologist (part-time will also be considered) to join our busy practice in Southern Pines, NC. We're excited to be offering a wide range of services to our community and we think you'll find our culture refreshing. We know that work-life harmony is important, so our Audiology team has 1-hour of admin time plus a 1-hour lunch built into their schedule as well as every other Friday afternoon off. Additionally, we have top notch facilities, provide paid conference days as part of our CEU benefit, and hold regular staff get togethers!
What You'll Do:
Build rapport with patients of all ages through consultations and examinations to provide the best treatment plan for their lifestyle. Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including but not limited to, comprehensive audiologic evaluations, impedance testing, ABR, ENG, fistula testing, OAE, CAP evaluation, ET included in impedance and Ecoch G, auditory process evaluations. Conduct cochlear implant, BAHA, vestibular (VNG, BPPV, Dix-Hallpike) and tinnitus evaluations. Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and communication strategies. Advise appropriate patients on securing local, state or federal assistance for purchase of hearing aids. Conduct follow-up consultations and counseling. Perform in-house repair and modifications of hearing aids when possible.
What You Need For This Job:
Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program. Current or eligibility to obtain Audiology licensure in North Carolina. An organized, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor populations.
