The Audiologist is responsible for Complete Audiological Testing, Earmolds, and Hearing Aid Dispensing. General Job functions include Assessment of hearing and balance across the lifespan, Counseling of patients and families/caregivers regarding hearing loss and implications of hearing loss, Providing appropriate recommendations with regards to the management of hearing loss in applicable environments (i.e. school, home, nursing homes etc.), Evaluation, fitting and dispensing of hearing aids across the lifespan. Qualifications Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to audiology Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation techniques Familiarity with otolaryngology and aseptic techniques Experience working with pediatric patients Excellent organizational and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and possess strong computer skills Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
