- Position Summary
- The Audiologist provides comprehensive diagnostic, rehabilitative, and counseling services for pediatric and adult patients with hearing and balance-related concerns.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE

- ) from an accredited program required + Successful completion of supervised clinical practicum and fellowship (per state requirements) + Active
- state licensure as an Audiologist

Diagnostic Audiologic Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral and objective assessments, including pure-tone and speech audiometry, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), and electrophysiologic testing (ABR/ASSR) to diagnose hearing loss. +
Pediatric Audiology Services:
- Perform pediatric diagnostic evaluations such as newborn
ABR/ASSR
testing, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), and Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA). Demonstrate the ability to assess individuals with a wide range of developmental and cognitive abilities. +Patient and Family Counseling:
- Educate patients and families regarding hearing loss, treatment options, communication strategies, and hearing conservation. Provide counseling and resources related to amplification options and Hearing Assistive Technology (HAT) systems. +
Implantable Hearing Devices:
- Evaluate and counsel candidates for cochlear implants and bone conduction implants. Provide full-scope clinical management of implant recipients, including device activation, eSRT measurements, ongoing programming, rehabilitation support, and troubleshooting. Manage implant-related equipment, including operating room device ordering, exchanges, replacements, and upgrades. +
Tinnitus Management:
- Evaluate patients with tinnitus and provide basic counseling, education, and management strategies. +
Interdisciplinary Care Coordination:
- Collaborate with otolaryngologists (ENTs), primary care providers, educational audiologists, Teachers of the Deaf (TODs), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
