Job Description

Staffing Proxy is partnering with Duncan Regional Hospital (DRH) to find a dedicated and compassionate Audiologist to join their growing team. DRH is a non-profit, community hospital that blends high-quality care with small-town values. While this is a hospital setting, the environment is cohesive and collaborative; leadership is present, the CEO is deeply involved with providers, and everyone shares the same goal: to improve access to care for their rural community. This is more than a job; it's a chance to build long-term relationships, grow with the hospital's expanding audiology department, and make a meaningful impact on patients across all ages.
Position Overview:
In this role, you'll provide diagnostic audiology services for patients of all ages. Pediatric care primarily involves hearing evaluations and ABR testing, with occasional hearing aid fittings starting around age 5. You'll also support adult patients through diagnostics, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, and vestibular assessments (including ENG and VNG), with support from a dedicated audiology technician to streamline your clinical workflow. CI, BAHA, and vestibular cases are currently referred out, however the audiology team is preparing f or expansion of available services, including a move into a larger, dedicated space as part of a new facility. This role is a great fit for someone who's clinically strong and genuinely invested in rural healthcare. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients of all ages, including pediatric assessments Perform tympanometry, speech, visual reinforcement pure tone audiometry, and ABR testing for newborns and young children Fit, adjust, and manage hearing aids Provide counseling and education to patients and families Support patients with tinnitus through evidence-based strategies Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for coordinated patient care
