Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Audiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat hearing and balance disorders. Your expertise will help improve communication, quality of life, and overall well-being for individuals experiencing auditory challenges. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance functions using advanced audiological equipment and techniques Develop personalized treatment plans, including fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices tailored to each patient's needs Collaborate with otolaryngologists (ear, nose, and throat specialists) to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes Educate patients and their families about hearing health, device usage, maintenance, and communication strategies Maintain accurate patient records utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards Perform otolaryngology assessments to support diagnosis of related conditions affecting hearing or balance Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining high-quality care Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism Lead educational initiatives or workshops aimed at community awareness of hearing health issues Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited program; Doctorate (Au.
D.) preferred Valid license or certification to practice as an Audiologist in the relevant jurisdiction Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to audiology and otolaryngology Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques for hearing loss and balance disorders Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting purposes Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, healthcare providers, and team members Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team Organizational skills necessary for managing appointments, patient records, and inventory of audiological equipment Customer service orientation combined with sales skills for recommending appropriate devices or solutions when applicable Join us in making a meaningful difference in people's lives through expert audiological care!
