Audiologist | FT Align ENT & Allergy |
Philadelphia, PA Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Audiologist, full-time, to join our healthcare team in Philadelphia, PA . As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals experiencing hearing challenges. This role requires a combination of clinical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering personalized care.
Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Testing:
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using audiometric tests and other diagnostic tools to identify hearing and balance disorders.
Patient Consultations:
Consult with patients to discuss test results, explain diagnoses, and recommend appropriate treatment options.
VNG Testing:
Perform vestibular testing, including VNG, to assess balance disorders and inner ear function
Treatment Planning:
Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, which may include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other therapeutic interventions.
Hearing Aid Fittings:
Provide expert guidance on selecting, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids for optimal comfort and performance.
Counseling:
Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Stay Informed:
Keep abreast of advancements in audiology research, technology, and best practices to continuously improve patient care. Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program. State licensure and certification as an Audiologist. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Compassion and empathy for individuals with hearing challenges. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Compensation & Benefits $90k salary + commission Health, dental and vision insurance 401 (k) PTO CME allowance
