Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role as a school-based Audiologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year! Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting their communication access and fostering inclusive learning environments. This full-time contract opportunity places you within a collaborative school setting near Lexington, SC, allowing you to utilize your expertise while experiencing professional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program Current state license or ability to obtain appropriate licensure for audiology practice in schools Previous experience in educational, pediatric, or school settings preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and families Familiarity with IEP process, hearing screening protocols, and assistive technology for students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and interpret results for preschool through high school students Manage hearing aid fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as the use of FM and classroom amplification systems Consult with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' access to the curriculum Participate in IEP meetings, develop hearing accommodation plans, and provide staff training Maintain accurate records while adhering to all federal, state, and district regulations
