The Hearing Health Center of Houston is a premier private audiology practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered hearing healthcare. Our clinic offers a full range of audiological services including comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, within a collaborative, compassionate environment. Position Description We are seeking an exceptional, enthusiastic, and motivated 4th-Year Audiology Extern to join our team for the 2027-2028 academic year (May/June 2027 through May/June 2028). The extern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in all aspects of audiologic care while working under the supervision of experienced Doctors of Audiology in a busy, medically oriented private practice setting. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations for geriatric populations Perform hearing aid consultations, fittings, counseling, and follow-up care Assist with tinnitus assessment and management Participate in community outreach and hearing health education events Collaborate with clinical staff and referring physicians to ensure optimal patient care
