Role Description The Audiologist position at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital is a full-time clinical role supporting the Department of Medicine and Medical Readiness within a military treatment facility environment. The provider would be responsible for performing comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing assessments, and related diagnostic services for active duty service members, retirees, and dependents. The role may also support hearing conservation, readiness evaluations, and patient education related to hearing health and treatment options. The position operates within a structured federal healthcare setting and requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, documentation accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary medical teams. Qualifications Doctorate or Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited program Current, full, active, and unrestricted Audiologist license in any U.S. state or territory. Ability to obtain and maintain clinical privileges within the military treatment facility. Experience performing comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing testing, and diagnostic procedures. Experience working with adult patient populations and hearing conservation/readiness programs preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred/typically required for onboarding within DHA facilities. Ability to utilize electronic medical record systems and standard clinical software. Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to meet federal credentialing, background screening, and onboarding requirements for military treatment facilities.
