Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Start a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a school-based Audiologist in the Bremerton, WA area. This vital role supports the learning and development of children by ensuring their hearing health needs are met throughout the school year, beginning August 26th. With a flexible .5-.7 FTE position, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact while maintaining a balanced schedule.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program Current and valid state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a K-12 school setting Proficient in conducting hearing screenings, evaluations, and developing management plans for students Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams, staff, and families Strong organizational and communication skills Knowledge of IEP process and special education requirements is a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive audiological services to K-12 students, including screenings, diagnostic assessments, and hearing aid management Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning through recommended accommodations and interventions Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation and implementation of individualized plans Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation according to school policies and state regulations Educate school staff and students regarding hearing loss prevention and best practices Coordinate with outside medical providers and agencies as needed If you're passionate about supporting students' success and want a contract position with flexibility and purpose, we'd love to connect with you.
