Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Step into an engaging opportunity as an Audiologist supporting students for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This contract role, located near the vibrant Federal Way, WA area, is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in school settings. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and school teams, providing crucial hearing services throughout the week—offering an excellent balance with a 3 to 4 days per week schedule. What You'll Need to
Succeed:
Current licensure as an Audiologist ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams Attention to detail and commitment to best practices in hearing health
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students Develop and implement individualized plans to support students with hearing challenges Consult with teachers and school staff regarding accommodations and assistive technology Maintain detailed records and provide ongoing progress reports Provide guidance and education to staff and families on hearing loss and management strategies Stay current with emerging audiology practices and school compliance standards
