As a school-based Audiologist, you'll play an essential role in fostering an inclusive learning environment by assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention for students with hearing challenges. This position is available for the new 2026-2027 school year and is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Audiologist certification with ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential Demonstrated experience working with children in school or clinical settings Strong assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills Collaborative approach with educators, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an accessible and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and hearing assessments for students as needed Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions Consult with school staff and families to recommend accommodations and hearing technologies Provide training and support for staff regarding auditory health, hearing aids, and assistive devices Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams This flexible position involves working three to four days a week, making it an excellent fit for those seeking work-life balance during the school year.
