Job Description

Work Schedule :
Full-time, 100% FTE, day/evening/night shift. Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Be part of something remarkable Come make a difference in the lives of patients at UW Health. We are seeking an Audiologist to:
  • Independently perform high quality diagnostic evaluations and provide corrective rehabilitative services to patients throughout their lifespan in a dynamic, fast-paced outpatient clinic.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians and audiologists.
  • Maintain current state-of-the-art knowledge as it pertains to audiological diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures.
  • Be open and receptive to guidance in performing diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology as provided by the senior audiologists. At UW Health, you will have :

  • Master's Degree AuD in Audiology Required Work Experience
  • Completion of an accredited doctoral program in audiology Required
  • 2 years of relevant clinic experience post-externship Preferred
  • 7 years or more of clinical experience post-externship Preferred
  • Experience supervising a learner Preferred
  • Contribution to local or national professional boards and committees (such as ASHA, AAA, or state-level speech and hearing associations) Preferred
  • Record of presentation at national and regional professional conferences Preferred
  • Record of active participation in program development/quality improvement initiatives Preferred
  • Interest in and/or history of seeking mentorship in developing leadership skills Preferred Licenses & Certifications
  • Wisconsin Audiology license Upon Hire Required
