Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audiology and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals experiencing auditory challenges. Travel daily to 13 HSU departments within 50 miles of our Oshkosh clinic. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate hearing. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify auditory disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment results. Provide counseling and education to patients regarding hearing loss and treatment options. Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding and documentation of medical terminology. Stay current with advancements in audiology practices and occupational health standards. Requirements Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the auditory system. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Familiarity with coding practices related to audiology services is a plus. Ability to perform detailed patient assessments using various audiometric tests. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care. Willingness to engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills.
