Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a difference by supporting students' growth and success in a dynamic school environment as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract assignment located in the Bessemer, AL area. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design tailored Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for individual students. Collaborate extensively with teachers, administrators, families, and support personnel to ensure the consistent implementation of behavioral strategies. Monitor, gather, and analyze data on student behavior, making informed recommendations and necessary adjustments to interventions. Qualifications:
Active and current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Proven experience supporting children in grades K-8, with a preference for candidates who have worked within educational settings. Outstanding ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated capacity to efficiently manage multiple student cases and consistently meet deadlines. Solid understanding of special education legislation, professional standards, and best practices in behavior analysis.
