Requirement:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required for this position.
Job Description:
Are you a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) looking for a caring and supportive work environment? Puzzle Piece is looking for warm and enthusiastic RBTs with a the heart for teaching children with special needs to join our ABA program in Cahaba Heights. Our program serves children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 2-5 in a small playgroup style classroom. We use an interdisciplinary Developmental-Behavioral Model to teach social, communication, play skills, and school readiness in a nurturing, loving environment. Your day will be spent 1:1 with our learners, but working as a team in the classroom to create a fun-filled and busy day of play and learning! You'll be a critical member of your learners' team, and work closely with our Behavior Analysts, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, and parents in a collaborative model to build a circle of support for the child and their family. We love therapists with their own special talents! Do you enjoy art, music, dance, or teaching something special? We would love to bring your talents into the program as a teaching opportunity! Puzzle Piece is a clinic of Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and ABA! We are a small, close-knit team and work hard to create a caring, supportive, and fun work environment. We know that happy therapists provide the best therapy and experience for our children!
