Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school environment with a contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This impactful role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in students' lives. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and other support professionals to implement individualized behavioral interventions and facilitate meaningful progress for students.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in educational settings Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow behavior intervention plans as directed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Professional, compassionate, and patient demeanor Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Dependable, punctual, and organized in documentation and reporting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct one-on-one behavioral interventions and skill acquisition programs to students Collect data on behavioral targets and progress towards goals Implement intervention strategies and follow detailed treatment protocols Support teachers and staff in understanding and reinforcing behavioral objectives Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desirable behaviors Attend team meetings and provide input on student progress as requested Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information
