Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to impact students' lives as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to lend your expertise across five vibrant school communities near Tallassee, AL. As the dedicated BCBA, you'll collaborate with educators and school staff, driving meaningful behavior interventions and fostering positive outcomes for students. With a manageable caseload of seven students currently requiring BCBA support, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and make a focused, genuine difference. Please note, this role does not include RBT supervision at this time, allowing you to concentrate exclusively on providing direct high-level behavioral consultation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Proven skills in developing, monitoring, and adjusting behavior intervention plans Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices Flexibility to travel between assigned school sites each week
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, develop, and implement effective behavior intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs Consult and train school staff and families, ensuring continuity and understanding of behavior plans Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document case management activities Serve as a collaborative resource across five schools, building positive working relationships Uphold the highest ethical and professional BCBA standards throughout all assignments Seize the chance to support students' growth and collaborate with dedicated teams in an environment that values your expertise.
